Wiesbaden is the birthplace of positive psychotherapy and also the International Academy for Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy – Peseschkian Foundation (IAPP) was founded in the state capital of Hesse in 2005.
Through decades of intensive efforts to establish transcultural cooperation, the founder has managed to set up several centers in over 25 countries, which are committed to carry out further training and therapy in the sense of cultural integration and international and racial understanding.
This work is based on 31 books on positive psychotherapy in 28 languages and countless secondary studies worldwide. All income from Prof. Dr. Nossrat Peseschkian’s personal author rights directly benefit the Foundation and its charitable work.
We have dedicated ourselves to the international further training of psychologists, doctors and educators in a special way, whereby the education and therapy work with children and adolescents plays an important role.
The foundation has had a particularly positive response in society. Events and lectures in various organizations in medicine, business, and school give rise to new ideas on how our goals can be dynamically implemented through projects – not least with regard to transcultural understanding and worldwide migration.
